The Captain went ashore.
A Little History
The Captain’s Galley was originally located just right up the lake under the bridge with just a floating restaurant. It was known for it’s great food and rum runners since it was originally opened. Around nine years it was moved to the 31 mile marker where a lakefront restaurant was added on.
The floating bar was replaced last year with a state of the art floating dock. The new dock was something like you had never seen before. It was equipped with a huge shaded bar and dining area, covered stage for live music along with a gift shop and game room for the youngsters. Boat parking was available in one of their brand new cruiser slips.
The popular favorites like the Spiced Shrimp, Crab Legs, and Chicken Fried Steak will never return there.
